What do I need to complete this application?

You will need the following:

  • if you are under 18 years, you will need a parent or guardian to support the application.
Basic Hunting permits are currently Open for application.
Duck Hunting permits are currently Open for application.
This year's Duck Hunting season runs from 21/03/2026 to 28/06/2026. Daily bag limit
Quail Hunting permits are currently Open for application.
This year's Quail Hunting season runs from 21/03/2026 to 8/07/2026. Daily bag limit

Have you ever been convicted of an offence against the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972, the Animal Welfare Act 1985 or SA firearms legislation, or similar legislation in another state?
